Drove down the Newgale with Del Boy and Nobby Rash. Arrived at 11am to be
greeted by grey clouds, driving rain, small waves, inconsistent winds and
Kelvin and Co sipping their coffees. Anyway, I was desperate to try out my
new Naish Floater and Naish Nalu. Due to the lack of consistent winds I
was really unable to give a good evaluation of my gear but I did make a few
mental notes: The Floater is not a floater for a heavy git like myself and
spent most of the afternoon up to my waist but it was just nice to get on
and get a feel. I'm sure it will be the dogs danglies on a good day down
the Knapp. We all got a few hours on the water (Or in my case, IN the
water!). I guess it was just nice to get away from Barry for the day and
see some of the cleanest water in the UK.....
Nice One
